Planning & Performance Advisor

In this position, you will manage the planning, funding and review of a portfolio of local Wairarapa health services. This will include leading the delivery of service development, operational planning and performance and service integration projects for allocated services.

You will work closely with others across the DHB on service change and be involved in sub regional and local service development initiatives. You will be involved leading consultation with local community groups, including Iwi and coordinating engagement with regional and national initiatives.

We are seeking a tertiary qualified Advisor with an understanding of the health sector and the key stakeholders in health services. You will have experience in health service change or policy development and managing service integration and development in a DHB or similar context. Strong analytical ability is critical to this role, as is your influencing and negotiation skills. You must be able to work collaboratively in a small team and have strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.

This is a permanent position working 80 hours per fortnight.
