How to Apply

Applying for any of our vacancies is simple, however please set aside 10-15 minutes of your time before you start.

Please ensure that you input your email address correctly in the application form as all correspondence for applications will be made by email only.

Answer our Questionnaire

This is normally no more than 5-10 questions. Answering these questions allows us to process your application more efficiently.

Upload your CV

If you have a CV in a compatible format simply upload it onto our system.  If you don't have a CV then it will be worth spending some time preparing one before starting the application process.  Please ensure your file is no larger than 4MB.

Upload a Covering Letter

A covering letter should provide us with a snapshot of who you are, and the reason for you applying for the role.  Uploading a covering letter is always a good idea for any potential employment.  Please ensure your file is no larger than 4MB.

Please note that references are not required at the time of applying for a position online.  These will only be requested from you if you are the successful candidate for a role following the completion of interviews.

Privacy & Confidentiality

The information in your application is collected for the purposes of assessing your suitability for employment with the Wairarapa DHB, which may include subsequent changes of employment within the company.  It will remain confidential to the Human Resources Dept, the appointing manager and any nominated interview panel members who are directly involved in the selection process.

Important Information

If the advert specifies the position is "Open to Wairarapa DHB Employees Only" then this means that only current Wairarapa DHB employees may apply for this particular role.  The deadline for applications is the closing date, unless otherwise stated.  If you wish to apply for more than one vacancy, you need to apply for each role separately.

Please note that we do not accept applications by email or paper-based, all applications must be made via the specific advert.  We are also unable to “hold” onto CV’s for potential employment opportunities at the Wairarapa District Health Board.
