Mental Health Professional (Fixed Term) - Adult Mental Health Services
We welcome interest in this position from a registered mental health clinician (e.g. Clinical Psychologist, Child Psychotherapist, Social Work, Occupational Therapist, Counsellor or Registered Nurse) with adult mental health experience.
We are looking for a dynamic clinician to work as part of our multi-disciplinary team that works as a community based service. This roles include care management and rostered crisis duty during normal office hours. You will work in innovative ways to support tangata whaiora / service users in their local community.
Applicants will be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence based treatment strategies and work collaboratively with other team members and services. You may be required to complete training as Duly Authorised Officer.
We have strong links to regional specialty services and psychiatric inpatient units to support our local service provision.
This is a fixed term, full time position working 80 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday, with the requirement to participate on the afterhours on call roster. The role is fixed term for up to 8 months to provide cover for an employee who is seconded to alternate duties.
