Speech Language Therapist - Child Development Service (CDS)

Our Child Development Services team works with children with disabilities to maximise their function and support their development. The team is based in Masterton and works across the Wairarapa region, seeing children and their whanau in outpatient clinics and community settings including home, pre-school and school environments.

If you have a passion for working with children, and ideally have previous clinical experience in the child disability area we would love to hear from you. The CDS team is a dynamic team that works in an interdisciplinary manner and has strong links with the DHB paediatric services, allied health team, child mental health services and more widely, into the education sector and with other child services and NGOs. The Speech Language Therapist works closely with other team members to contribute a SLT perspective to assessment and diagnosis.

We are looking for a Speech Language Therapist who is flexible, innovative and has the experience and ability to build and develop strong professional and therapeutic relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a local service and to make a difference for children in our region.

This is a permanent part time position working 16 hours per fortnight, between Monday to Friday, actual days and times to be agreed upon.
