Community Support Workers - Casual (Adult Mental Health Services)
As a community support worker you will be based in the Crisis Respite & Recovery Centre on Wairarapa Hospital campus and assist with the support and care of tangata whaiora / consumers. We are looking for someone who is flexible with a calm nature and is sensitive towards different cultures.
You will be innovative and have previous experience working alongside tangata whaiora / consumers and family / whanau with mental illness and mental health needs.
You will have the National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (or equivalent tertiary qualification) or be working towards one. You will also need to hold a full current clean driver's license for this role.
This is a casual position, working 0 - 80 hours per fortnight, as and when required. Applicants must be available at short notice to cover any shift.
