ACC Administrator - Finance
We need a customer and output focused Administrator to join our busy Finance team. The role is responsible for the processing of all ACC claims, invoicing of all ACC related matters and other tasks related to ACC contract and regulation services.
Applicants will need to have knowledge of Accident Insurance Legislation and should also have a good understanding of medical terminology. There is the opportunity for the role to expand in the future for the successful applicant.
The successful applicant will:
- Have previous experience working with ACC claims, ACC systems, and patient information systems.
- Have ability to review data and undertake some data analysis.
- Have contract or general administration experience, and is able to develop systems, policies and procedures when needed.
- Need to have a demonstrable proactive approach to problem solving that utilises teamwork.
- Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Need to show attention to detail and enjoy a strong process orientation.
- Be able to demonstrate a professional and courteous manner in all communication with staff and the general public.
- Be able to work independently while also being an effective team member.
- Need to generate outputs/outcomes with a high level of accuracy within established deadlines.
- Be flexible and resilient.
This is a permanent part time position working 48 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday. There may be the opportunity for the role to expand in hours in the future.
