Wairarapa Hospital, based in Masterton, is a little more than an hour from Palmerston North Airport, Wellington International Airport and Inter-Island ferry connections. Daily rail services link Wellington with Wairarapa towns and scheduled InterCity coach services also run from Palmerston North to Masterton.

We are looking for Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Perioperative team.The hospital operates both Public & Private theatre sessions covering General Surgery, Anaesthetics, Orthopaedics, Urology, Endoscopy, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics, as well as Ophthalmic. You may also be required to provide clinical support to the Day Procedure Unit and PACU as and when required.

We have available permanent and fixed term positions, full or part time, working rostered and rotating shifts, with a requirement to participate on the after hours and weekend on call roster.

You must hold a current annual practising certificate, have previous experience as a theatre nurse and can work confidently without supervision. Preference will be given to someone with experience, skills and an interest in Anaesthetics.
