Service Development Manager

This is an opportunity to join a small, experienced and high performing team, responsible for the planning and development of health services in Wairarapa.

You will be experienced in health services management and passionate about improving health outcomes for people in Wairarapa.

Ideally we are looking for the following areas of expertise:

  • Primary and community services

In this role you will be responsible for assessing needs and opportunities across a suite of services and working in partnership with other stakeholders to co-design and commission the range and mix of services that will most improve health outcomes, within the resources available.

To be successful, you will have skills and experience in:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Commissioning and co-design
  • Performance monitoring
  • Contract negotiation and management
  • Project Management

You will also enjoy the opportunity to participate in relevant regional and national networks, and to work collaboratively in a small team.

This is a full-time permanent position working 80 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday.
