We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Registered Nurse to lead our rehabilitation service. This role is an exciting opportunity to provide operational management and leadership for the rehabilitation nursing team, and to work with the team to ensure people aged 16 and over receive the rehabilitation they require to achieve the best possible function, allowing them to live well within their whānau and community.

The rehabilitation team undertakes assessment, treatment and rehabilitation in the 15 bed inpatient rehabilitation ward at Wairarapa Hospital, and we are working on further developing our community rehabilitation service.

In this role you will lead a team of knowledgeable health professionals, and work closely alongside DHB Community & Integration services, inpatient wards, residential care providers and primary care teams. You will have at least five years' nursing experience including a management / leadership role, and will have a sound knowledge of clinical nursing practice, rehabilitation principles and a commitment to an interdisciplinary focus. You will have a strong client centred approach, superb communication skills and the ability to form strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across a range of settings.

This is a permanent full time position, working Monday to Friday. The role is based in Masterton.
