We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Group Manager to lead the co-ordination and delivery of our Acute services to the people of the Wairarapa.

About you - who we're looking for

Are you an innovative, well organized individual with exceptional communication skills? We are looking for a person who is actioned orientated, a proven ability to juggle a number of tasks at any one time and a drive to ensure we deliver exceptional service to our people. You will also need a comprehensive general knowledge and business understanding of a healthcare environment, preferably a DHB one.

In this role you will be responsible for the management of services which predominantly provide acute care within a hospital setting with particular focus on patient and flow management to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and capacity for the achievement of acute care targets and deliverables. You will work in partnership with the other Group Managers and as opportunities arise effect changes to processes and care models such that patient care is more responsive, proactive and delivered in a safer and more sustainable way
