Registered Nurse - Ophthalmology
A wonderful opportunity for career progression has opened up within Outpatient Department for a Registered Nurse who will undertake training towards a position of Clinical Specialty Nurse Ophthalmology. This position will be working closely with and under the supervision of the CNS Ophthalmology while training in eye assessment and the giving of intraocular injections. On the completion of the training programme this position will move into a clinical specialty nursing role.
We are seeking expressions of interest from Registered Nurses with a minimum of PG Cert or working towards, currently employed in the DHB and who have an interest in eye disease and are willing to undertake the training to become a Clinical Specialty Nurse - Ophthalmology.
We will support further post-grad education in this specialty as required.
This is a part time permanent role working 32 hours per fortnight (0.4FTE), Monday to Friday with actual days and hours of work to be agreed but will need to match the appropriate clinics.
