Nurse Practitioner - Mental Health (Te Rangiora - Adult Mental Health Services)
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner Mental Health to work with our teams in the Wairarapa.
The Nurse Practitioner role will complement existing service provision for clients with mental health, look to the future health needs of the population and provide opportunity for clinical leadership and consultation with the primary care and NGO sectors to contribute to meeting identified health priorities.
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Mental Health nurse with registration as a Nurse Practitioner. You will have a proven experience and evidence of advanced nursing expertise. You will also be highly organised with exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, a thorough understanding of quality improvement and clinical processes, and able to demonstrate a high degree of self-awareness and reflection.
We offer Professional Development, peer support, clinical supervision and encourage continuing education. We also work in consultation and close liaison with the Regional Specialist Services and arrange access to tertiary facilities as required.
This is a permanent full time position, working 80 hours per fortnight, actual hours to be agreed upon. There is also a requirement to participate on the after hours on call roster.
